So, with that being said I am going to document the past 7 months in pictures below and try to be better about posting from this point on.
We have moved from Steamboat to Richmond, VA in June 2011 and after about 4 months I can say that it was a really good move for our family. Brad and I both got great jobs in Richmond, me at The Steward School and Brad at The Collegiate School. We are so happy with our positions and our schools and are looking forward to settling into these schools for a long long time.
Ok, let the documentation begin (earliest photos on the bottom):
Cyrus ate about as many apples as he picked:)
We had so much fun at the apple orchard

Growing up so fast!!
Cyrus's second birthday party was a huge hit. We had a Dr. Seuss theme this year, specifically Thing 1, Thing 2 since he was turning two. I had a huge dessert table with the following: Red Velvet cupcakes and a red velvet smash cake for Cy, Kettle Corn, candy coated marshmallow pops with sprinkles, strawberry pops, candy coated pretzels with sprinkles, red whoopie pies, oreo truffles, twizzlers, and red & blue juices. The party was from 3 - 5 so we had heavy

hor'dourves of Ham & Cheese sliders, deviled eggs, fruit skewers, veggie tray and for drinks we had a pony keg, margaritas, and wine.
Hurricane "Irene" came through Richmond this summer and I had sent Brad out for supplies, this is what he returned with.
Brad got invited to the New Belgium Launch Party this summer, I was his Plus 1:)
Cy, looking very dapper in his little blue vest:)
2011 Touch A Truck!
Brad and I took Cyrus to the Annual Touch A Truck this year. He had a blast. He loves anything having to do with transportation and the bigger and more manly the vehicle the better! We saw tractors, bull dozers, garbage trucks, car haulers, a helicopter, ambulances, fire trucks, et... It was an awesome day!
I have been doing a little applique on Cyrus's shirts lately and made this one for our Touch A Truck adventure. It was the most complicated thus far with three different patterns of material but it turned out great:)
Cyrus is starting to use the potty. He is not comfortable peeing yet but he enjoys sitting and reading while doing his business. I am indifferent with this. I don't find the diapers to be a pain and I don't have the time to devote to potty training, especially since he's in day care all week. I don't want to force potty training on the weekend only to have him revert during the week. So, we're just trying when he feels like trying and not pushing it when he doesn't.
Baba came to visit!!!! She and Cyrus had the best time and he was so sad when she left, running around the house yelling for Baba:(
Family adventure to the James River. Mom and Dad came up to visit and we all took Cyrus to the River for the afternoon. It's so nice to be closer to family now.
Patriot's Half Ironman! I did my first (& last) half ironman in Williamsburg, VA in September of this year. I had not trained as properly as I would have like but ended up having a great race. I was 8th in my age group and 60th woman overall for a time of 6:16....whew, long race!!!
