Freeman 5K Rebel Run

I decided, last minute, to run the Freeman 5K Rebel Run. I haven't been running much so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was just hoping to be under 23 minutes. The course was really good, it started on the far side the of the track and it brought back so many memories to race on the track:) Loved it.  I finished in 22:58, 7:22 min/mile, which I was happy with. I was the second Woman overall and won $15 rather than a finishing medal which I thought was great:) I went to Trader Joe's on my way home to buy my favorite bottle of wine with my winnings:) Good race.
