Week 1 for the 50K training plan was successful. I ran a total of 36 miles, all in 4 days. I was gone for work and needed to get it in so I ran 10 before heading to the airport on Wednesday and then just ran each day while in TX. I felt good all week, a little tired after the last run on Sunday but I guess that's to be expected. I did up my mileage quite a bit this week. My concern is the health of my feet and legs, they always seem to crap out on me during these big training missions so I'm going to approach this plan with more time on my feet and less focus on speed. Hopefully this plan will work out better for me than the longer training runs in the past.
