Christmas Eve was a wonderful day. We started at the Anders for a bit, came home and I had a nice leisurely 10 mile run while Cy napped before heading over to my parent's house at 2pm for an early lunch/dinner. My mom served a delicious white bean and turkey chili with these amazing corn bread and cheese rolls. Doc & Jill met us there for dinner and then we went to River Road Methodist Church for the children's service at 5:00. It was perfect, we got home about 6:30 and settled in to enjoy the evening, just the three of us. Before heading to bed, Cy and I made and decorated three (although it's weird that only two made it on the plate) sugar cookies for Santa. We put them out by the fireplace with some almond milk and carrots for the reindeer. As we put them out, Cy had to sample the carrots and drank most of the milk. This child has NEVER had a glass of milk in his life and he couldn't get enough of Santa's. I was praying he would get sick from it!! After Cy went to bed, Brad got busy putting his new tool bench together and filling his new Orb up with air. I fell asleep around 12:30 after getting the house ready for Christmas morning and I guess Brad came in around 2am...I was way asleep when that happened:)

The quickest picture I could take in church during Communion...Brad told me I wasn't allowed to snap a photo in church so I had to sneak it:) I'm pretty sure God didn't care. |

The parents, ridiculous:) They love each other, thankfully! |
