Cy's new workbench. This thing is so cool. All the pieces and parts move and make noise, he loves this thing. |

the Orb. This thing is pretty cool. You climb inside and roll down the hill. It's actually really fun;) |
Pretty sure Brad likes it more than anyone:) |
The Christmas holiday was such a blast this year, the whole month. Cyrus was totally into it and was super excited about Santa, his elf, Buddy, Christmas carols, Christmas books, essentially anything having to do with the magic of the season. We had a jam packed month of activities and festivities, it was wonderful (although I am feeling like I need a vacation from the activity, I am exhausted!). Christmas morning was so special this year. It was the first year that my parents and Jill & Doc were here to share in the moment with us. We waited until Cy woke up before calling them to come over so we had a short time to ourselves with Cy to watch him take it all in. Santa was very good to him this year, too good actually. I have been collecting goodies for quite some time so when it came time to actually wrap everything I was a bit overwhelmed with all of his toys and books and games. Truthfully, I should have taken half of it to the hospital and given it to some of the kiddos there. I will be more diligent next year about not buying so much stuff for him. Between the grandparents and us, he was overly celebrated this year:( Ok, enough about that. The morning itself was wonderful. We had mimosas and cinnamon rolls while opening the gifts and then a wonderful Christmas morning brunch consisting of grits, sausage crescent rolls, and an egg and turkey bacon casserole. Delicious!! After all the presents were open, Cy went to take a nap and I went out for a nice and easy 10 miler, it was the perfect morning!
