Cicadas!!

The cicadas are starting to emerge. This particular species is the biblical version of the insect plague. It is going to be impressive! Apparently, they are so loud that you can't hear an airplane fly above you. When I got Cy from Cougar Care, Cy was holding like 4 of them. I love that he is not afraid of little critters. I think that connection to our natural world is important to protecting it later in life when he is old enough to make decisions.
