"Damn it", "what the hell is that", "oh, shit"
These are the three phrases that came out of my sweet boys mouth this weekend, all used appropriately with the correct inflection on the right syllables. I wish that I could say that he is picking up this terrible language at school but the truth of the matter is, he gets it from....me. Good lord. I cuss like a sailor. It's terrible. I have a pretty decent vocabulary and find it pretty easy to express myself without using these cuss words but nonetheless, I use the freely and with abandon, and it's catching up with me. I am well aware that it is not flattering or very lady like, but it is a bad habit that I picked up many moons ago and I definitely need to do something about it. So, on this day, Mother's Day 2013, I vow to not let another cuss word cross these lips in front of my child (or anyone else's for that matter) again. I will save have to save them all for my nightly talks on the porch with my darling husband. Lucky Brad:)
